Company ProfileSince the ’50s of the previous century, at Sipag Bisalta we have been supplying top quality and highly reliable products to foundries. This is the result of our consolidated technical know-how underpinned by ongoing innovation and the use of first-class raw materials meeting the highest European quality standards. Our production fully meets these requirements, so that all our products provide high, time-enduring performance, matched with environmental compatibility, and economics. Our technical service provides expert pre- and post-sales assistance, with the formulation, if necessary, of customised products to meet specific needs. Our Central Lab carries out full analyses of moulding sands, as well as specific studies upon customer’s request. The company is based in Genoa, Italy, with production units in Peveragno, near Cuneo, and Sovizzo, near Vicenza. Product ProfileBENTONITE We supply a full range of top quality bentonite-based products with high montmorillonite content, high thermal stability, excellent bonding power, and consistent quality. BENTONITE-COAL DUST MIXTURE AND LUSTROUS CARBON FORMERS Coal dust employed by us is ground from suitable, constantly controlled quality sea coal, low in ash and sulphur, and high in lustrous carbon, with a constant release of volatile matter. MOULDING SAND ADDITIVES AND AUXILIARES Moulding additives are used to lend specific features to the sand, in order to eliminate certain metal casting defects.
