GNR Ltd was established in 1984 in Milan from the experience acquired from OPTICA Ltd, one of the first and most well-known European company in the field of Analytical Instrumentation.

Our company has always been characterized by a strong commitment in research and development.

GNR ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENTS GROUP can rely on a well-established group of highly qualified researchers and technicians, plus the cooperation with leading Italian and foreign University Department. Together, these two elements constitute the best precondition for a strong and fast-growing technological development, and for an increasing and significant presence on the world-wide market.

The Head Office is in Agrate Conturbia (Novara), its located in a 12000 square metres site.
Over 50 people are currently employed in the Group.

Product Profile

• G.N.R. Analytical Instruments Group designs and produces optical emission spectrometers (OES) for the measurement of elemental chemical composition of metal alloys and related accessories and sample’s preparation.
• G.N.R. Analytical Instruments Group designs and produces optical emission spectrometers (OES) for the measurement of contaminants, additives and wear metals in lubricants oils, coolants, hydraulic fluids.
• G.N.R. Analytical Instruments Group designs and produces x-ray laboratory and portable diffractometers (XRD) for the and fluorescence (XRF) for the study of different material structure and composition.
• Application services including sampling, calibration, training, laboratory and applicative expertise.
