Gabriele Galante 1942-2018July 13, 2018  We regret having to announce the death of CEMAFON’s Honorary President, Gabriele Galante, who passed away on July 12, 2018. During his Presidency of more than 20 years, Mr Galante established CEMAFON as the respected voice and lobby organisation of the European manufacturers of foundry machinery and plants, furnaces and products for the foundry industry. He was an untiring advocate of European industry throughout the world. Furthermore, he invented and steered the biannual International Foundry Forum, which has been the most important networking event of our industry. We have deepest respect and gratitude for Mr Galante's long-lasting engagement and his commitment to the idea of a strong and leading European foundry equipment supplying industry and the establishment of excellent international relations. Beyond his professional achievements he was driven by a strong humane approach with deepest sympathy for his fellow man and will always be remembered for his generous hospitality and humor. We at CEMAFON will cherish his memory. Our thoughts are with his family and beloved ones.
